Inflation in Belarus in January amounted to 2.4% when prices were frozen

The prices of services raised the most – by almost 4%.

The consumer price index for goods and services in January 2015 rose by 2.4% compared to December 2014; by 17.1% compared to January 2014, informs the National Statistics Committee

In January 2015 the basic index of consumer prices that disregards changes of prices for individual commodities and services that are affected by administrative and seasonal factors stood at 101.8% in comparison with December 2014.

In January 2015 prices for foods rose by 1.8%, with prices for non-foods up by 2.4%. Prices for services rose by 3.9%.
