Belarusian Economy Ministry offered to curtail the government

The Economy Ministry realized that Belarus has developed way too huge bureaucracy apparatus.
The structure of the Belarusian Economy Ministry will be redone, too, the Belarusian Economy Minister Uladzimir Zinouski said at the session of the Ministry's board on 18 February.
Let us recall that the government of Belarus has approved the arrangements to comply with the unfeasible national budget-2016. According to the document, the state administration bodies, public organizations, municipal, district, and village executive committees should make proposals to the Ministry of Finance to reduce their budget expenditures. The reduction should be also happening at the expense of optimization of the network and the number of budget organizations.
According to Uladzimir Zinouski, the Belarusian Economy Ministry will have to focus on enabling conditions for the systematic increase in the competitive ability of the Belarusian economy. “If the pace of events quickens, we face new challenges every day and have to make decisions faster,”BelTA quotes the Economy Minister saying.
Uladzimir Zinouski stated that the structure of the Economy Ministry will be changed, the functions will be optimized for the sake of better performance. In his words, the development and implementation of concrete measures for the financial restructuring of the economy, effective and profitable operation of enterprises is another important task.
According to Uladzimir Zinouski, the Ministry will have to focus on improving the national economy management system for the sake of adaptation to rapidly changing conditions and on working out proposals to improve the style and methods of work of government agencies and the government as a whole.
