Belarusian Economic Research and Outreach Center announces call for application for the Post-Graduate School in Economics on the basis of the Economic Department of the Belarusian State University.
The School will take place from December 2013 till June 2014 and will be held in a module format. The participants will take the modules on microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and research methods. The modules will be delivered by the visiting faculty and BEROC faculty.
The participation is free of charge; scholarships fully or partially covering the travel costs for participants from the regions are also available.
The participants can take the whole cycle of the modules or can choose the modules of their interest but the School's certificates will be issued only to those who take all the modules and pass all the take-home exams.
The candidates should be a PhD or MA student or plan to enter PhD or MA program at Belarusian university; have good knowledge of English; have good university record (the average score should be equal or higher than 4,5).
Deadline for applications is November 18, 2013. The completed application form should be sent to the e-mail beroc@beroc.by with the notice «BEROC postgraduate school application». Selected candidates will be contacted via e-mail on December 2, 2013.
