On February 26-27, 2021, the International NGO EuroBelarus and the European Center for Education and Research will organize an online discussion workshop “Belarusan education on the path of change”.
The workshop will start a series of discussion meetings, seminars, conferences and research with the participation of the most significant actors of civil society and the education sector, dedicated to current problems and necessary reforms of the education system in Belarus.
In the first event, the expected speakers are: Olga Shparaga (philosopher, author of the book, author of the book “Community-after-the-Holocaust: on the way to a society of inclusion”), Galina Veremeychik (Head of the Representative Office of the registered society Deutscher Volkshochschul-Verband e.V.), Tatsiana Vadalazhskaya (Program Coordinator of the Flying University), Andrey Laurukhin (senior analyst at BISS, member of the Public Bologna Committee).
Considering education as an integral system, we invited managers, researchers and educators from its different segments (secondary, vocational, higher, non-formal education) to participate in the discussion.
As a result of the workshop, we hope to identify topics and directions for the further discussions and necessary studies, as well as participants who are interested to continue the further joint work.
The conclusiona of the workshops will be published on our website.
The event is held within the framework of the Action Belarusan education on the road of change, funded by the European Union.
