1. Lead expert on education
Duty level: 150 euro per day, 3-4 expert days per month.
Duration: 1 November 2021 — 30 May 2022, with the possibility of prolongation till December 2023.
Main area of responsibility: Coordination of work on educational reform and support to the CSO of education sector within the framework of the Belarus Beehive.
Scope of work/description of duties: Applications’ assessment, Coordination of the processes of the further development and approval of the Roadmap for education reform, Coordination of the development of an online educational offers for CSO.
Required experience and qualifications:
Qualification/ degree in education, humanity studies, or other relevant discipline.
Knowledge and experience (at least 10 years) in education field.
Experience in coaching, mentoring, project management.
Language capacities: Fluent Belarusian, Russian, English.
2. Lead expert on culture
Duty level and costs: 150 euro per expert day, 150 euro per day, 3-4 expert days per month (based on time sheets).
Duration: Starting from 1 November 2021 to 30 May 2022, with a possibility of prolongation till 31.12.2023.
Main area of responsibility: The expert is responsible for implementing activities aimed at forming and improvement of the technical capacity of reform-oriented thematic coalitions s in the field of culture.
Scope of work/description of duties and responsibilities:
Organisation of capacity building activities (tailored education and mentoring or consulting) for culture CSO, initiatives, and coalitions.
Tailored organizational development measures and project development support to culture networks and coalitions, and in particular, to the Belarusian Council for Culture.
Recruitment of consultants on the required topics.
Assessment of project applications in culture thematic area.
Providing analytical information about the Belarusian culture situation, shaping requests for studies/researches if needed.
Participation in coordination events within the Belarus Beehive.
Required experience and qualifications:
Qualification/degree in culture management, humanity studies or any other relevant discipline.
Knowledge and experience (at least 3 years) in culture field.
Experience in coaching, mentoring, project management.
Ability to work against deadlines.
Language capacities: Belarusian, English.
3. Lead expert on self-government
Duty level and costs: In total max 3000 euro in 6 months.
Duration: Starting from 15 of November 2021 to 30 May 2022, with a possibility of prolongation till 31.12.2023.
Main area of responsibility: Responsible for implementing activities aimed at forming coalition on self-governance.
Scope of work/description of duties:
Continued dialogue with local community development organisations.
Organizing events for local initiatives online and offline.
Facilitation of participatory development of the common documents, if needed.
Cooperation and exchange of experience with the other stakeholders and partners to develop synergies.
Assessment of submitted small projects on the local governance and local activism.
Strengthen impact and coordinate support to CSO.
Other activities if needed for forming CSO coalition on self-governance.
Required experience and qualifications:
Qualification/ degree in humanity studies, law or other relevant discipline.
Knowledge and experience (at least 3 years) in self-governance or community development field.
Experience in coaching, mentoring, project management.
Ability to work against deadlines.
Language capacities: Belarusian, English.
4. Communication officer
Duty level: 150 euro per day, 6 days per month.
Duration: 1 of November 2021 — 31.12.2023.
Main area of responsibility: Organization of publications and promotion of project events and materials of Belarus Beehive.
Scope of work/description of duties:
Development of the overall project communication strategy, in coordination with the project manager.
Contacts with the media, individual journalists and bloggers, in particular for the publication of key articles on the topic of the project, preparation of press releases.
When performing work, the project budget for podcasts, journalists, designers can be used (with the approval of the project manager).
Preparation and design of invitations, announcements, other materials for the promotion of project events.
Promotion of events and project documents on social networks and media.
Technical support for the Education Coalition’s website.
Other works (if agreed with the expert) for the organization of communications in the project.
Required experience and qualifications:
Experience of the candidate corresponds to the scope of work/description of duties.
Qualification and experience in media management, journalism or any other relevant discipline (at least 3 years).
Ability to work against deadlines.
Language capacities: Belarusian, English.
