Belarusan entrepreneurs leave their working places in protest

Many Minsk entrepreneurs have decided to stop working after January 1, 2016 because it is absolutely impossible to stick to the Decree No.222.

Belarusian private entrepreneurs are refusing to work in trade centres and markets now, the Republican Public Association Perspektiva (Belarusian “Prospect” – EuroBelarus).

The administration of Minsk trade centre Zhdanovichy is collecting their appeals to send them to the administration of Minsk Central District, Euroradio reports following the organization.

According to the Decree No. 222, entrepreneurs will need documents for goods imported from the territory of the Customs Union after January 1, 2016. However, Russian suppliers refuse to give such documents or offer fake certificates. It results in fines and confiscation. Entrepreneurs have asked the authorities to cancel the law many times but the government won’t react.
