Belarus' external state debt continues to grows

As of 1 March 2016 Belarus' external state debt totaled $12.5 billion.

Since the beginning of the year Belarus' external state debt got 0.04% up.

In January-February 2016 external state borrowings totaled $133.6 million, including $56.5 million borrowed from Chinese banks, $69.1 million from the Russian government, and $8 million from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

Since the beginning of the year Belarus has spent $102.4 million to repay the external state debt, including $45.4 million paid to Chinese banks, $50 million to the Russian government, and $7 million to the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

As of 1 March Belarus' state debt stood at Br379 trillion, Br50.4 trillion or 15.4% up since the beginning of the year.

The internal state debt amounted to Br115.5 trillion, Br14.1 trillion or 14.4% up since the beginning of the year, BelTA informs.
