“The creation of a two-reactor power plant in Astravets represents one of the most successful projects in the countries embarking on the development of nuclear energy industry. The IAEA does everything to help successfully implement the project,” - IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano stated at the opening of the international exhibition and conference Atomexpo.
“Belarus is a valuable partner for the IAEA. The Agency and Belarus maintain important technical cooperation, particularly with regard to the nuclear power plant construction,” the IAEA head emphasized, BelTA informs.
