According to the head of the analytical center “Strategia” (Strategy), Kremlin won’t come up against Minsk; Russia has her own problems to resolve now.

- It is funny to hear about the extremely important historical role of Russian oligarch Vladislav Baumgartner. Official Kremlin is still silent, except the statements made by Henadzij Onischenko, Russian Chief Sanitary Inspector, - stated an economist Leanid Zaika in the talk with the EuroBelarus Information Service. – Vladimir Putin is no fool to stand up for him.

According to Zaika, for the moment being Kremlin has more serious challenges to face, such as Moscow mayoral elections, problems in Kaliningrad region, Syria.

- The main issue for Russia now is to see how their weapon comes out against American missiles. It is a real trial for Russia, after which the notorious new Russia can prove to be nothing.

What about the potash conflict, the so-called “obscene deals” did take place, Leanid Zaika believes.

- Who was the person who suggested Lukashenka all these schemes and all these deals? And all the statements about milk products, meat, and oil will rather lead us towards Europe. So let Russians push us towards European Union, while our opposition can feel free.
