Meanwhile, the meeting of the EaP countries at foreign ministries level in Budapest and the meeting of the Visegrad Group is attended by Uladzimir Makei’s deputy.

The Eastern Partnership summit as opened in Prague takes place between April 24-26, with the presidents of Austria, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Moldova, Georgia and Armenia attending. Ukraine is represented by the Ukrainian Minister for Foreign Affairs Andrii Deshchytsia, whereas official Minsk has lowered its presentation to the level of the Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Alena Kupchina.

The prospects of development of the Eastern Partnership and the political situation in Ukraine will be discussed during the meeting.
