Uladzimir Makei went to Brussels to discuss “Eastern Partnership”

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus is participating in the Eastern Partnership Ministerial Meeting in Brussels. He is presenting the official position of Minsk on this issue.
In Brussels today, on July 22, 2014, Uladzimir Makei, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, takes part in the Eastern Partnership Ministerial Meeting. The meeting is focusing on the state of play and perspectives of future cooperation under the Eastern Partnership, informs the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.
Belarus’ Foreign Minister is to make a plenary statement to outline Belarusian approaches to the EaP further development.
Let us recall that in June the conference of the Belarusan National Platform of Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum was held in Minsk. During this meeting it was suggested that the “Eastern Partnership” program can cease to exist, as the Belarusan civil society should be ready for the work in the new situation.
