Program Coordinator

Location: Minsk, Vilnius

Duration of Contract: 2 years

Starting Date: February 2012

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordination of development and overall control of action plan for Eurobelarus civil society development programme
  • Coordination of programme activities
  • Coordination of administrative support to programme departments
  • Staff responsibility, creation of and assurance of implementation of staff policy in Eurobelarus
  • Compilation and quality assurance of reports from Heads of Departments
  • Administration overview in Belarus
  • Responsibility for human resources administration (approving time sheets, holiday requests and sick leaves)

Qualifications and experience required:

  • planning, monitoring and evaluation (PME) skills
  • more than 3 years of working experience in the field of NGO project management (including projects supported by the European Commission)
  • extensive knowledge of and the Civil Society in Belarus
  • proven analytical, writing and communication skills  
  • strong interpersonal and CRM skills
  • basic financial literacy
  • good English and Belarusian

 

The Head of the monitoring group

Location: Minsk

Duration of Contract: 2 years

Starting Date: February 2012

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Development of the programme monitoring strategy, logistics and tools (questionnaires, etc.), including baseline surveys
  • Organisation of all the analytical and civil society monitoring work
  • Preparation of analytical materials for the www.eurobelarus.info  
  • Development of the monitoring and analytical reports, preparation of analytical/reflection parts for the program reports based on reports on events/works and on civil society monitoring data.
  • Planning, monitoring and evaluation (PME) work within the related field
  • Overall staffing responsibilities for consultants involved in the monitoring and research component.

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Excellent analytical skills, writing and communication skills
  • more than 5 years of working experience
  • extensive knowledge of and the Civil Society in Belarus
  • good English and Belarusian

 

The Head of the Information service

Location: Minsk

Duration of Contract: 2 years

Starting Date: February 2012

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Development of the general strategy of the Eurobelarus and its programmes’ information policies, in coordination with the program coordinator.
  • Organization of PR
  • Dialogue with representatives of the mass media
  • Participation in recruitment and coordination of work of the Information and publishing group: journalists, promoters, web-site chief editor, designer, etc.
  • Planning, monitoring and evaluation (PME) work within the related field
  • Overall staffing responsibilities for journalists and administrators involved in the information service component

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Proved skills in journalism and mass media
  • More than 3 years of working experience
  • Knowledge of Belarusian legislation and specific conditions of mass media work in Belarus
  • Skills and experience in PR
  • good Belarusian, Russian, English in the frames of communication
  • High IT competence

 

Executive Secretary

Location: Minsk

Duration of Contract: 2 years

Starting Date: February 2012

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for the programme calendar
  • Organisation of publications of paper materials, promotion and media materials’ productions. 
  • Organisation and supporting communications between partners, making minutes on the project partners’ and the Board meetings, meetings of the managerial staff.
  • Coordination of working communications inside Belarus via Internet (mailing lists).
  • Organisation and logistics of events in Belarus

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good administrative skills
  • Experience in organisation of public and educational events
  • Fluent Belarusian, Russian, English
  • IT literacy (MS Project, OroTimesheet, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Email, Skype, PGP)

 

IT administrator

Location: Minsk, Vilnius

Duration of Contract: 2 years

Starting Date: February 2012

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Service for the software and administrative support to the information infrastructure of Euobelarus.
  • Development of the computer security system.
  • Organisation of broadcasting of the Virtual seminars and conferences
  • Management of programme staff web-conferences when necessary

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Proven knowledge and skills in IT field
  • Working experience as IT administrator more than 3 tears
  • Good Russian, Belarussian, English
