Grodno will host the 13th Autumn Festival of UNESCO clubs on 3-4 November, bringing together 14 UNESCO clubs from Grodno and districts.
The youth forum is to unify, as well, 5 clubs from other Belarusan regions of the country and the Secretariat of the Belarusian Association of UNESCO clubs, BelTA knew from the Grodno Region Executive Committee.
The tolerance issue, respect for other ethnicities and cultures and religions is to be underlined and discussed under the project. A number of educational workshops will be proposed during the youth forum, interactive games, platforms for experiences’ exchange, as well as closing ceremony with a certificate award ceremony and a concert.
The first autumn festival, held in Grodno since 2000, was attended by seven UNESCO Grodno-based clubs and the same number of clubs from other Belarusan cities. The main goal of the Festivals of UNESCO Clubs is to provide new information for further activities of the clubs.
The organizers of the festival are the Grodno regional department of the Belarusan Association of the UNESCO Clubs, the youth affairs departments of the Grodno Region Executive Committee and the Grodno City Hall, the Grodno Office of the Belarusan Peace Fund.
