The release of an annual report on freedom of associations in Belarus

The Assembly of Pro-Democratic NGOs and the Legal Transformation Center “Lawtrend” has analyzed the situation in the third sector in 2012.

The annual review “Freedom of Association and the Legal Status of Non-Profit Organizations in Belarus” was published on February 21, 2013, reports Human Rights Center “Viasna”. The report was prepared by the Assembly of Pro-Democratic NGOs and the Legal Transformation Center “Lawtrend”. The publication highlights the most important trends and developments related to the legal conditions of public associations and other forms of civil society organizations in 2012.

Separately, the Legal Transformation Center prepared an analysis of the registration of public associations in 2012, and the lists of registered and liquidated non-profit organizations during the year.
