European Intercultural Festival started with the German Language class organised by the Youth Education Centre FIALTA, one of the partners of the European Intercultural Festival in Minsk, democraticbelarus.eu reports.
According to Victor Moster, one of the volunteers from Germany, students enjoyed different games, songs and even a quiz during the class. All takes were related to the European topic of the festival. The beginners’ group left Fialta after 90 interesting minutes with some basic knowledge of the German language. Greeting someone in German or asking for his name or age should now not be a problem, Victor believes.
Besides working with short new articles about current issues in Europe, the advanced group faced some tricky questions during a European quiz. Thanks to the quiz all participants know now that Estonia is the EU member or that the king of Spain is named Juan Carlos I.
