Talakosht project has been working for a few days only; however, interest to it is growing, its leaders claim. Mechanism of funding significantly differs from the similar projects launched earlier.
Crowdfunding service Talakosht was launched on March 31 to collect funds for the implementation of socially significant projects. The creators of the service – Talaka.by team – talk about the uniqueness of the Belarusian project.
Unlike world analogues, Belarusian project doesn’t require immediate money transfer but has "mechanism promises" instead, one of the leaders of Talak.by Yauhen Klishevich told “EuroBelarus” Information Service:
"First sponsor registers its promise to transfer the money, and then, when the amount of promises will be sufficient to Finance the project, the payment is made. This format, in our opinion, encourages authors to form a caring community around the project and to involve them in joint action. Because at any moment a potential sponsor may withdraw his promise to support the project”.
Talakosht already implemented the collection of funds for several projects. For example, the author of the idea of free bike rental in Minsk plans to collect 23.3 million rubles, though for now, according to onliner.by, they only managed to raise 50 thousand.
