The City of Lublin (Poland) invites you to participate in the Competition for the best projects of cross-border cooperation-2012.
The Competition is designed for all creative entities without any legal limitations, including nongovernmental organizations, informal artistic groups, individuals, local authorities, business entities involved in public, cultural or educational activity, both from the European Union and the Eastern Partnership countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine) as well as Russia.
The Competition includes five categories:
a) good governance (the category includes the projects implemented within the last 3 years with significant impact on enhancing the institutional quality of public administration work);
b) civil society (the category includes the projects implemented within the last 3 years with significant impact on the development of civil society);
c) culture (the category includes the projects implemented within the last 3 years with significant impact on crossing the cultural borders in any possible way (e.g. through artistic projects, exchange and artist-in-residence programs, organizing cultural events, translations, passing on know how, and exchange of ideas));
d) tourism (the category includes the projects implemented within the last 3 years with significant impact on the development of tourism);
e) education (the category includes the projects implemented within the last 3 years with significant impact on the development of non-formal, school, and academic education).
Concept projects may be submitted for the Competition as well.
Application submission:
1. Deadline for project submission: August 20, 2012.
2. In order to enter the Competition, one should complete the application form in Polish, English or Russian (the Attachment no 1 to the present document).
