The protest march scheduled on July 15 won’t take place. The appeal for mass protest action of entrepreneurs has been withdrawn from Minsk City Executive Committee on June 9.
Entrepreneurs have cancelled the march they had been going to organize on July 15 in Minsk, reports Euroradio. They managed to persuade officials to impose a moratorium on check-ups until November 2013 at a meeting in the Ministry of Trade.
As of July 1, all entrepreneurs need to stick to the Customs Union regulations and get documents for all light industry goods. However, Belarusian entrepreneurs who mostly buy their goods in Moscow markets cannot get such documents from their suppliers.
The matter has been left open, Anatol Shumchanka, the head of the entrepreneurs association “Perspective” said. They are planning to solve the problem during the next meetings of officials and entrepreneurs.

Under the rules, entrepreneurs shall have quality certificates for shoes and clothes they sell.
