Construction of hostels in Minsk will help attract more foreign tourists, Andrei Novikov, head of the Department of Consumer and Hotel Services of Minsk City Hall stated on October 15.
“Minsk authorities have given the green light to this type of accommodation. Hostels are very popular in European countries, because they offer most affordable prices. Four hostels function in Minsk today, one more is to be opened soon. The price ranges from Br 35,000 to Br 100,000 a day”, the head of the Department noted, considering the price beneficial and competitive, as it would contribute to price cuts in other Minsk hotels, stimulating tourists’ inflow.
Three municipal hotels will be constructed in Minsk. All of them will be inexpensive panel buildings in Naračanskaya, Karžaneuskaga and Kašavoga streets.
