“Social Advertising Workspace” launched new social project

A pilot project “PR for socially important projects” was launched in the frames of the “Social Advertising Workspace” initiative, under the auspices of the Legal Transformation Centre in Minsk.
The idea of the project belongs to the Head of the “Lawtrend” Elena Tonkacheva, Julia Rymasheuskaja coordinates it.
51 NGOs participated in the project and became owners of their own “business cards”. It is assumed that those cards will be available in public places, such as libraries, cinemas, “intellectual” cafes, often visited NGO offices. Such organizations and campaigns as the Orthodox Christian Fellowship, Young Social Democrats “Young Hramada”, EcoFood, charity shop “Kali Laska” and many others take part in the project.
According to Julia Rymasheuskaja, the coordinator of the project, it has two main target groups: NGO and campaigns’ activists and potential volunteers, people who want to do something useful for the society, but don’t know how. The aim of the project is to inform those potential volunteers about volunteering opportunities and guide them in the civil sector. Another aim is to raise awareness about Belarusan NGOs, work on their image. Today social topics are not at all popular in media, they are not being covered. The project aims at promoting socially important issues and enhancing people’s activity.
