Uladzimir Makei held a meeting with the heads of EU and US diplomatic missions

The meeting arranged on Friday aimed at wide discussion of a number of issues mostly dealing with Belarusan and European relations.

Belarusan side was represented by the Foreign Minister Uladzimir Makei, reports BelaPAN.  The heads of diplomatic missions representing European Union countries, the Vatican, the United States and Switzerland gathered to discuss questions concerning the state of Belarusan and European cooperation and future prospects for its development.

On the same day, Minsk hosted a round of consultations between the Belarusan and Lithuanian foreign ministries on the European Union's Eastern Partnership program. Among other concerns these talks focused on preparations for an Eastern Partnership summit.

Let us recall that the EU and EaP summit is going to be held in November of this year in Vilnius .
