Lukashenka met with Turkey President

The official version of the meeting lies in updating the agenda of the Belarusian-Turkish cooperation.

“It is high time we update the agenda of cooperation, adjust the roadmap of our relations,” said Aliaksandr Lukashenka. The Belarusian head of state stressed that Belarus is open to cooperation with Turkey.

The two leaders agreed that the issues discussed at the meeting would get practical development during the forthcoming meeting of the Belarusian-Turkish intergovernmental commission in May. The Presidents talked over the prospects for increasing Turkish investment in Belarus, more active cooperation in tourism, including through increasing the number of flights between the two countries, BelTA informs.

The Turkish President confirmed his readiness to pay a visit to Belarus, which agenda is to be discussed during the forthcoming meeting of the intergovernmental commission.
