Belarusan Foreign Ministry recommends staying away from visiting Egypt

The situation in Egypt is not favourable for visiting the country. Lately hundreds of people have been killed and thousands wounded, as a civil war is unfolding in Egypt.

“In connection with a serious political situation in Egypt, the Ministry recommends all Belarusans spending vacations in Egypt to avoid visiting Cairo and other major cities and be very cautious outside hotels,” Belarusan Foreign Office says.

The MFA has advised that Belarusans planning to spend vacations in the region should “refrain from visiting Egypt until the situation is stabilized”.

According to Euroradio, here are about a thousand Belarusans in Egypt now. About 550 Minsk citizens are spending vacations in Egyptian resorts now.
