Agreement on ceasefire in Ukraine is signed in Minsk

The representatives of the official Kiev, Luhansk People’s Republic and Donetsk People’s Republic signed the protocol on ceasefire starting from 6 p.m. in Donbas.
After the meeting of the trilateral contact group on Ukraine with participation of Ukraine's former President Leonid Kuchma, , Russia's Ambassador to Ukraine Mikhail Zurabov, official representative of the current OSCE President in Ukraine Heidi Tagliavini, and representatives of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) the protocol on ceasefire was signed at the meeting.
Participants of Contact Group on Ukraine also signed 12-point plan of peace settlement in Ukraine, ITAR-TASS informs.
On September 5 the third meeting of the OSCE contact group on Ukraine took place in Minsk.
Before that, representatives of Ukraine, Russia, the OSCE, Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and Lugansk People's Republic (LPR) met in Minsk on September 1. DPR was represented by Andrei Purgin who called himself "Deputy Prime Minister" of "Donetsk People's Republic." It should be recalled that Purgin participated in the previous meeting of the contact group in Minsk which took place on 31 July. The so-called Lugansk People's Republic was represented in the Belarusan capital by Alexey Karyakin, "Speaker of the Supreme Council."
