Russia is forming a second airbase in Belarus. It is to appear in Bobruisk in 2016.
Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu stated that Russia is to keep developing airbases abroad: in Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Armenia. “We are developing them rather actively,” ITAR-TASS quotes Sergey Shoigu.
Shoigu recalled that a Russian squadron went on combat duty in Belarus. “We have settled there and started combat duty,” the minister said.
