Indicative activities of the programme include:

drafting of a single methodology for national regional development planning including legal, budgetary andfiscal impact;
capacity building and training of the counterparts on the national and regional level;
creation of a feedback mechanism through institutional strengthening of the information collection andanalysis system;
elaboration of the comprehensive plans for regional development, including financing planning; identificationof pilot projects to support regional development plan priorities.
