The survey made by the European NGO confederation for relief and development is aimed at the examining of the CSO involvement in programming process of new Multiannual Financial Framework.
The first phase of the programming exercise of the new Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) 2014-2020 of the EU and the 11th European Development Fund (EDF) has come to an end in most of the partner countries. During this first phase EU Delegations identified three priority sectors for each country. In the second phase, which is about to be launched, EU Delegations will develop a Multiannual Indicative Programme (MIP) detailing the EU support for the three selected priority sectors.
CONCORD, the European NGO confederation for relief and development, has launched a survey in order to assess whether and how civil society organisations have been consulted in the first phase of the programming exercise. The results of the assessment will be used to formulate recommendations and to try to influence and improve consultations with civil society organisations in the second phase and in future similar exercises. As the EU is currently developing and implementing new channels for engagement with civil society, like CSO roadmaps, the final questions of the survey will also assess these commitments.
The deadline for filling out the online survey is 31 May 2013 and the completion of the survey should not take longer than 15 to 20 minutes.
