“Green Network” Partnership invites to take part in the roundtable «Access to Justice on Environmental Issues in Belarus» that is to take place on 25 May in Minsk.
The program of the roundtable includes:
- presentation of studies of obstacles to access of the community to justice on the issues related to the environment in the EECCA countries
- review of legal precedence on cases related to ecological rights of the citizens, examined by the courts of the Republic of Belarus for the period from 2010 to 2014
- experience of participation of the Aarhus center of the Republic of Belarus in the implementation of article 9 of the Aarhus Convention «Access to Justice»
- discussion of urgent issues related to exercising of citizens’ rights to access to justice on environmental issues.
The event will be held on 25 May from 16:00 to 18:00 in Minsk, in Yakub Kolas Central Science Library at the National Academy of Sciences (Surganova str., 15).
